Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Makhana or Fox Nuts
- 10-12 Cashews
- 10-12, Raisins
- ½ tsp of Elaichi Powder
- 500 ml Milk
- 4-s tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Ghee
Steps to prepare Makhana Kheer:
- Heat 2 tsp of ghee in a pan and roast the makhanas and cashews. Take it out in the plate and keep it out.
- Pour 500ml milk into a deep thick bottom pan and bring it to boil.
- Now take only 1/3rd of makhanas and keep aside the rest of the makhanas and cashews. Grind these 1/3rd makhanas in the grinders and make a fine powder of it.
- Add this makhana powder to the milk and stir it on low-medium flame.
- Next, add the kept aside makhanas, cashews, and raisins. Also, add the elaichi powder.
- Stir it and let it cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Add 4-5 tsp of sugar or as per your taste. Mix it well and turn off the stove.
- Serve it hot or cold, as per your liking.
