Ingredients:
- ½ cup Sabudana, soaked overnight
- 1 Potato (boiled, peeled, and mashed)
- ½ tsp chopped Chillies
- 10-12 Peanuts, chopped or crushed
- ½ tsp Raisins, chopped
- ½ tsp Cumin Powder
- ¼ tsp Amchur or Dry Mango Powder
- Sendha Namaka, as per your taste
- 1tsp Singhade Ka Atta or Kuttu Ka Atta
Steps to prepare Sabudana Tikki:
- Drain the overnight soaked sabudana. Take a big bowl and mix sabudana and mashed potato in it.
- Now add ½ tsp chopped chilies, crushed peanuts, chopped raisins, ½ cumin powder, ¼ tsp amchur powder, 1 tsp sendha namak, and 1tsp singhade or kuttu ka atta to the mix. Blend it all with your hands.
- Next roll the sabudana mixture in the tikki or flat patties form. Don’t make it too thick or too thin.
- Hear 2tsp of oil in a frying pan or skillet. Place 4-5 tikkis at one time and fry them on medium heat.
- When the base turn lightly brown, flip them using a spatula and fry from another side too. If required, add 1-2 tsp oil more.
- Once they are fried from both sides, serve them with curd, mint, or coriander chutney.
